Ok, now you have your affiliate products, you can use your blog to promote, this is great! What? The traffic is not high enough? The income you generate from your blog is not as high as you thought? Don’t worry, here comes the “BUM MARKETING”.
Bum Marketing is a great approach for you to promote you products, it is especially good when it costs zero money. It is thus very popular among affiliates to follow on the Internet. Bum Marketing means you write about the products on the Internet, the way to write it can differ, but one thing in common is the use of KEYWORDS. Keywords are the keys for search engines to look for your article, the more relevant keywords, the higher probability of being found in search engines.
As you see, google or yahoo! these search engines have special flavours, just like human, they have preference for websites, e.g. for ezinearticles.com, as there are so many relevant articles being posted, the chance for it to be found is also higher. I’m not sure what your blog is about, but for one article, I’m sure you can write it with the relevant keywords as long as you can read and write.
So what are the keywords? The most common keywords are “How to” and “tips on”, many people write on different topics providing so many different tips and ways. Then the second types of keywords are those highly related to the topic you’re writing about, e.g. “Internet Marketing” for this blog post.
On the other hand, do not post your article only in one blog or web, you should post the article to different websites so that more people can read it. (Though I highly recommend you to re-write some of the content for articles post to different webs.)
The third thing is to post it in websites like del.ici.ous and digg, where people can help you to spread your articles. Afterall, you’re just sharing something you think is good, right? Don’t be shy to tell others.
